Hello,

We celebrated "World Space Week" this week. It was an important week for our students because for the first time, our students started using computer. We taught them some facilities of the computer in compliance with the "World Space Week." They learned how to draw an alien, space and some other things regarding space. This project appealed to the students because the thema "Space" was interesting and fun for the students which kept them motivated to learn. All this week, we loaded what we have done about "World Space Week" to our site.

TIME TO DRAW AN ALIEN

This time, students learned how to draw an alien. They drew an alien and then they colored the aliens. They had great time while drawing an alien because it was fun for them to draw something they had always watched in the cartoons.

Steps to draw an alien:

The Teacher:

-Step 1: I'm drawing the space very quickly. I drew the space.

-Step 2:I am trying to bring an alien into our space. I choose the color green and the "brush" and press the buttons "control" and "plus" at the same time.

-Step 3: Press "Control" and "plus", as we press them, the brush's point is getting bigger and bigger.

-Step 4:Press "Control" and "minus", as we press them, the brush's point is getting smaller.

- Step 5:How many eyes do you want the alien to have? We are drawing 3 eyes on the alien.

- Step 6:I am choosing the color white and we do not have to press"control" and "plus" anymore...

THE FIRST LESSON

It was an exciting day for our students because it was the first time that our students drew space. They were all eager to listen to the instructions. Our first lesson was a preparation for the " World Space Week." We did this lesson one week before the " World Space Week." However, our students did not have any information about the space before. The "space" was just a theme for them to draw.

In this lesson, we learned how to use tools such as:

• Pencil
• Fill Color
• Air Brush

At the end of the lesson, they were capable of drawing space by using the tools above.
